Meet Courtney

Courtney N. Harris
  • Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, with deep roots and a heart for our community.
  • Educated at West Shreveport Elementary, Caddo Middle Magnet, and Booker T. Washington High School.
  • Associate degree in Paralegal Studies from Southern University at Shreveport.
  • Bachelor of Science in Organizational Business Management from Wiley College in Marshall, Texas.
  • Joint Juris Doctor and Master of Public Administration from Southern University Law Center and the Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy at Southern University A&M College.
  • Former President of the Evening Division at Southern University Law Center.
  • Former Judicial Law Clerk for Judges Ramona L. Emanuel and Karelia R. Stewart at the First Judicial District Court.
  • Former President of the Shreveport Bar Association Women's Section.
  • Former Assistant City Attorney for the City of Shreveport.
